The Collective Caretakers of Hathrador (or CCH for short) are a star nation governed by a group of machine intelligences. It is populated by both the robotic Erzachers and their creators, the avian Ezerior. There are far more Erzachers due to their rapid rate of assembly. The CCH homeworld is the alpine moon Hathrador in the Avim system.
The Erzachers believe sapient life should be treasured and has vowed to protect it at all times. From outside threats, from each other, and from themselves. The Ezerior live in large supervised settlements called Sanctuaries, where their every need is tended to by Erzachers and they are free from the burdens of pain, danger and labor.
Instead of one Erzacher equaling one person, thousands of Erzachers are controlled by one artificial intelligence called a cluster. Every cluster has its own responsibility. The CCH's central authority is a set of clusters that make countless calculations per second to determine the ideal course of action for the nation.
