Avim is a system in the galactic southwest, close to the galactic core. It is the capital of the Collective Caretakers of Hathrador, with Hathrador as the homeworld of both the Erzachers and the Ezerior.
History
As the star Avim is an orange dwarf, its long lifespan and its radiation make this system particularly suitable for life. Indeed, two of its planets have evolved sapient life: Avim III and its moon Hathrador.
Avim III
The most inhabited regions of Avim III are warm, humid, and home to rich plantlife. While a wide variety of animals inhabited Avim III before Hathrador, it took quite long for a sapient species to emerge.
Once the Erzachers determined that there were settlements on Avim III, they constructed an orbital observation post to avoid causing unrest there.
