The Pacification Beam is a weapon designed not to destroy, but to disable. This laser beam is too narrow to deal any significant damage to a hostile spaceship's exterior, but just right for the fragile electronic components of a weapon or thruster. Taking too many hits from a Pacification Beam to these areas can leave a ship helpless, allowing Erzachers to board it.
